I love farm weddings, but I REALLY love farm weddings that are infused with elegance, romantic details, stunning florals, and of course – dancing under string lights. Some of my very favorite vendors in the Chicago suburbs came together to create this beautiful shoot that was inspired by the gorgeous farm-to-table venue at Heritage Prairie Farm.
From the vintage corvette, to the masterful floral textures, and hand drawn stationery elements – the romantic color palette was echoed throughout the day. Let’s dig into the gorgeous details Heritage Prairie Farm wedding photos!
The Florals: Marla from Wallflower Designs is the queen of floral texture. She created the perfect blend of vibrant seasonal fruit with an eclectic array of florals. The brides bouquet was an organically composed masterpiece!
The Stationery: Ashley from Paper Love Club created a beautiful suite of products: invitation suite, menu, hand-drawn map, just married sign, and more. Each element incorporated fine paper, watercolor, copper leaf, and custom calligraphy. Fun tip: Our stylist, Jen from Elm Street Social, purchased a set of hexagon marble tiles typically used in a backsplash. These backsplash tiles were transformed into escort/seating cards when Ashley added gorgeous hand lettering with a copper pen.
The Dress: The romantic lace and tulled dress was created by EllynElizabeth. The illusion back is a showstopper – I can’t get enough of this trend!
The Beauty Team: Carly Pribich created a fresh-faced look with makeup application and hair styling from Jen Spair added the perfect balance of soft feminine romance and modern appeal. Check out that hair for short-haired brides!
The Cake: We love The Sugar Path. Not only are their wedding cakes beautiful…they are equally delicious.
The Venue: Heritage Prairie Farm is a farm-to-table venue nestled in the Chicago suburbs. This gorgeous location provided the perfect backdrop for a charming, romantic, and organic setting. If you’re looking for a farm wedding venue that has unique details, amazing food, and a gorgeous romantic view – look no further.
The Styling: Jennifer from Elm Street Social brought the vision together with her impeccable styling. She introduced perfectly paired tones, textures, and styling concepts that are fresh yet timeless.
The Couple: A warm thank you to Kim and Branigan. This real-life couple emoted so much JOY during this inspiration shoot. We are so blessed to capture this chapter in their love story!
The Photographer: If you’re planning a romantic and joyful celebration in an outdoor setting we would love to meet you! One July Photography is based in Chicago and available for travel.
