I’ve been busy shooting weddings throughout Chicago this year, but I had to make time for some family sessions which remain near and dear to my heart.  When Candi contacted me about driving down to their farm for some family portraits I absolutely could not refuse.  This was our fourth session together and watching this family grow from their maternity session to today is simply amazing.  When I walked into the farmhouse that they rehabbed (they need an HGTV show) after moving from their condo in the city, I had to contain my excitement when I saw images from all of our sessions gracing their walls.  This is why I love this job.  It’s so much more than “knowing your camera and having a vision”, it’s about creating a legacy.  And showing your clients just how beautiful they are.

I could go on and on but I’ll let the images do the talking.  A farm, a rustic meets modern vibe, a vibrant sunset, and people in love are all things that make me swoon.  I think I smiled the entire two hour drive home.
