Lauren and Ryan’s Hyatt Lodge Wedding Reception was one of the most heartwarming experiences of my summer.  I don’t even have the words to describe this family – the genuine love, warmth, and joyful spirit that flowed throughout the room was palpable.  It sounds cliche to say it was an honor to be part of their day, but truly – it was humbling to be surrounded by such a loving family.

This sweet couple officially said I do in May on the beach in Mexico.  After returning home, the family decided to have “a big awesome party” to celebrate the newlyweds with all of their favorite people (and their dog, Stella!) who couldn’t make it to for the ceremony.  This “big awesome party” was beautiful!  The ballroom at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonalds campus feels like a luxury treehouse, nestled in the woods.  The lanterns on every table were the perfect touch to this mint, blush, and gold color scheme.  After dinner we snuck away for some quick pictures in the sunset, before they danced the night away!
